Supervisor General's Message

It gives me great pleasure to introduce Prince Ahmed Institute (PAI), which made its initial foray into training in 2005 with the delivery of training courses in printing and color management, to its current status as the pre-eminent Media Institute in Saudi Arabia. Its official inauguration - in April 2008 - under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, was the culmination of years of unstinting effort from dedicated staff. The establishment of PAI came about in response to calls from the media sector for qualified and specialized professional human resources to be at the vanguard in the rapidly developing field of Arab and international media and journalism.

Referring to the vision of the institute and our Chairman HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, it is our endeavor to be the market leader of the media industry in the Arab Word focusing on the public and private sectors and to be a non-profit organization, managed in a professional way and with a business approach. Our Strategy is to serve the nation with Media Education and Training, Media Professional Services and to be the pioneers of female training in the media field. It is also our strategy to have an expansion program in positioning ourselves as the world class media training house and to be “Iconic Media Provider” with brand image.

Our community of students is diverse, from aspiring young graduates to practicing professionals in several sectors. This inspires us to provide best quality infrastructure and the most learned and experienced faculty direct from the print and electronic media. Above all it is our will to turn out quality media professionals, like print journalists, television anchors, radio jockeys, TV productions and editors and so on. These practical aspects ensure that our graduates are well-prepared for the ‘real world’ environment.

No wonder, therefore, that many of our successful students are occupying high positions in reputed media houses in the Kingdom and other countries.
